Yes, this is true! I’ve been treated by nurses who you could tell cared not one iota about my health or any other random patient. It was just their “job.” They weren’t very pleasant or caring individuals, including two I knew casually in a non-clinical setting. My daughter is currently studying to be a nurse. She’s finding it challenging but so far is getting A’s. I’m very proud of her right now:) Especially since none of us come from a college background. Hearing about all this Ebola does have her second-guessing her choice though....

Good luck to your daughter!

I was studying to be a nurse quite a few years ago. I had 1 year left before achieving a BSN when I changed majors. I realized my heart wasn’t in it.
