The fiance of Amber Joy Vinson, the second person to contract the Ebola virus in the United States, is under quarantine in Texas.

No name or age has been given for the fiance, who is in Dallas under self-quarantine, which basically means that he’ll avoid contact with others and alert officials if he shows any symptoms.

The man isn’t showing signs of the virus as of yet but will stay home from work for the next three weeks to play it safe, reported WFAA.

His employer, NationStar Mortgage in Lewisville, says the man called them and admitted that he’d been around Amber leading up to her diagnosis.

Senior management at the company believe everyone is safe.

“Our understanding is from the health authorities we’ve talked to is that since he was last at work on Thursday, and the person he was in contact with who has the illness didn’t show symptoms until this week, that there’s no risk or danger to anyone at NationStar because there was no contamination present in our building,” spokesman John Hoffmann said...

Yeah, it's weird. Either they never went to this house. Not one neighbor is talking? Not one neighbors kid who spends too much time on conspiracy sites on the internet? Or tells a friend with a big mouth? Seems weird. If the African Ebola family was your new neighbor--how would you and your neighbors be taking it?

So, there is a more than good chance, they never went to this house.

But, if they did and they are still alive. You can bet we are now responsible for keeping them in this manner of a lifestyle.

And in the back of my mind, I know there is NOTHING more the Communist Dems would like to do than hand out foreclosed homes to their protected class of indolents.

So, the Texas hospital has had this machine that can detect Ebola within an hour, but the FDA won’t allow the hospital to use it to detect Ebola? Wha-?

Looks like if the virus doesn’t kill us, the red tape will.

Per the latest reports (as far as I’ve read, anyway), Nurse Vinson did receive permission from the CDC to travel.

Yes, it’s possible there will be lawsuits against her and the hospital.

But, is the country really going to start down that road toward criminalizing sick people who travel - even before they are diagnosed or know they’re sick, and even though the government gave them permission to travel and didn’t restrict their travel? IMHO, society would have to be in full panic mode during a pandemic before that happens.

But I could be wrong. We’ll see soon enough.

I heard on the news, either FOX or OANN, that now the CDC is denying that VINSON gave accurate information to them. Now if this is true, it means that she knew that if she told them the truth that she would be told not to travel. So we are still at the point at which it is difficult to tell who is telling the truth.

Sick people travel all the time. I would strongly discourage people who may have the equivalent of the BLACK PLAGUE from traveling at ALL!

Last I read, the CDC was saying she did report the fever, but she didn’t say that she was feeling tired.

IOW, the CDC is reaching. Really, she reported the fever. What else did they need to know?

No one at the CDC wants to take the blame. They tried to blame the first nurse, and now they’re trying to blame the second.

These women are nurses, not infectious disease experts. The experts told them they’d be all right. The experts told this one she could travel. These nurses are not to blame. The CDC mishandled the situation.
