Two journalists are on TV reporting on tax reform. Suddenly a loud BOOM shakes the studio. Things fall over. People scream frantically.
First journalist: "What the heck was that????"
Second journalist: "We don't know, but one thing we can say at this point is that it certainly wasn't terrorism."

This really happened: I was listening to WABC Radio in NYC when the first plane hit the world trade center.
In the first fifteen minutes, the WABC announcer said that the FBI said this was not a terrorist attack.
