Why are you dismissing the "ebola-like symptoms" characterization cited in this post.
I'm not saying it's true, but you are now the 2nd poster to completely ignore it.

It therefore should not be surprising that at least some people do not knee jerk their heads into a spinning top over it until verified.
Just like the dozens of other “almost true” news stories that have been making the rounds.
If it were not so serious a issue, it would be quite humorous.

According to the website that broke this, two separate co-workers at Alcon have confirmed that there was an email put out by Alcon MANAGEMENT stating that an Alcon was exhibiting "Ebola-like symptoms." Her boyfriend works there, and reportedly, so do her parents.
Unless everyone is lying, someone is at least symptomatic - possibly infected.
Because it is influenza season as well as common cold season.....
