I heard an exchange during this episode, between Abraham and that other chick in his band, that tells me that Abraham no longer believes that Eugene has a cure.
I heard him saying “We’ll talk to him.... not just yet.”
I think Eugene blew it when he said two phrases: “If I went Red Ring...” which is a Xbox 360 term for having your player-character die. Scientists of his purported level of skill do not have time for Xbox 360.
Also when he got done with his little soliloquy about what he used to do, he smiled, and said “Y’know... all things being equal, that does sound pretty bad-ass.” That is not something someone would say, unless they were impressed with their own lying.
Eugene seemed to be B.S.ing them in the train car trying to impress them with big words, didn’t he? I think that’s probably a clue as to where his story is going to end up.
OMG
I JUST MADE THE MOST AMAZING FIND EVER
In the Very Last Scene, just before Morgan’s cameo, the raped Mary comes back into the train car and Gareth says...
“We’re going to take it back.... you’re either the butcher, or the cannibal.”
The CANNIBAL.
I had to listen to it twice (I have it downloaded on my computer) to make sure. It’s what he said. WOW.
Eugene is full of it with that half-cocked story of his. I really wonder how bright Abraham and whats-her-name are for buying into it, no questions asked.
Yay for Sasha—she at least tried to pin Eugene down.
I read a theory that the Termites were going to kill the tough, muscled guys first (Rick, Daryl, Glen) and hang them in the smokehouse for later consumption. The women, who have more body fat, would be eaten as soon as they were killed. I guess Eugene was going to be dissolved into grease for the cooking pans.
