Forgive me but my Racism fatigue Syndrome is flaring up today. With Louis Farrakhan's diatribe about ebola being manufactured to kill black people and Reverend Jackson's waxing intellectual about how racism killed Thomas Eric Duncan I think I just need to tune them out and think rational thoughts like okay Ebola is a hemmorhagic fever (meaning hemorrhage-rapid outflow of BLOOD) and maybe just maybe a percentage of African and African-American individuals may have a little more susceptibility to ebola, no matter the strain, due to something they themselves carry in their OWN DNA, SICKLE CELL TRAIT? Could this perhaps have anything to do with the mortality rates in Africa and Mr. Duncan's death and why the white people, Brantly and Whitebol survived? What about the African people who survived ebola? Do they have racist blood from an ancient ancestor that protected them?
Oh yea I forgot about this. LOL
Racism is what libtards say when they are afraid of the truth and can’t handle the truth. They are evaders.
Winnah, winnah, chicken dinnah!
I think it is the reverse. West Africans may have built up some immunities to the virus or there would be more deaths. Duncan didn’t get treatment until it was too late. The “white” patients immediately understood their symptoms and were given prompt care so lived.
The media will never mention it, but you have only to look at the conditions of these countries where these killer diseases emerge. Billions of dollars have been poured into these countries but it never benefits the poor, the corrupt governments use it as they please.
If you look at pictures you see the poor people dying and carried out of rusting corrugated metal shacks with mud floors and they go barefoot. They haven’t been taught how to avoid catching the disease and don’t even have the ‘means’ to do so. There is no racism here, it’s the failure of corrupt countries to grow and improve and it’s been that way as long as I can remember.
Deep South America is not much different and we already have them coming across the border - welcomed by Obama.
Agree bump.
Al Sharpton garden gnomes! That would be a GREAT Product!
“Billions of dollars have been poured into these countries but it never benefits the poor, the corrupt governments use it as they please.”
Which is entirely different from the US. The difference in the US is that there some degree of “leakage” to the general populace, whereas in 3rd world countries, the money is directly, brazenly, and almost completely stolen.
Strange how that may work out. In 50 years that “leakage” will have turned into an avalanche, everyone will be poor and we may become like the ‘poor’ countries I spoke of.

Here is another one from Star Trek to Civil Rights Division.

Your post paints a vivid picture of the devastation in the ebola plagued countries, Potlatch. It is so sad.
Mark Zuckerberg just donated 25 million to the CDC Foundation to help address the Ebola epidemic.
The money will be used by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Ebola response effort in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and elsewhere in the world where Ebola is a threat, the foundation said Tuesday.
I hope it is used wisely.....
Thank you Yorkie. Very generous of Zuckerberg and, like you, I hope it’s used wisely.
A second nurse in Dallas now has Ebola and she had taken a flight to and from Cleveland!! She supposedly had a low grade fever at the time...
They have now transferred that nurse to Atlanta. (And she apparently knew she had a fever when she boarded the plane.)
Now I read that she called in about her low fever and they gave her the ‘go ahead’ to fly! She’s a nurse and if she was concerned then they should have been. It’s astounding.
