What about all the people who have been in the sealed aluminum tube with him for the last many hours? What about them now?

Another key question is when do those infected with ebola become contagious. I've heard several 'experts' say that a person is contagious only after they begin to show symptoms. I think it is agree that, the more the infection spreads, the more contagious a person becomes.

But, when do they become contagious? This from one site:

Even if a person exhibits no signs or symptoms of Ebola, he or she can still spread the virus during the incubation period. Once symptoms begin, the person can remain contagious for about three more weeks.

Ebola Incubation Period

I don't know if that sites is correct, but I do bet that our government is, once again, just telling us something to avoid panic, whether or not they have sound scientific evidence to support it.

When watching/listening to these pressers, pay attention to the mismatches between what they are saying, and what they are doing.

For example, they have repeatedly told us that people are not contagious to others until they have symptoms, such as vomiting, bleeding, diarrhea, etc. That Duncan couldn’t have infected anyone until he became symptomatic.

Yet, when this nurse shows up with a temp, but no other symptoms, they rush to close down her apartment building, decontaminate the public areas, her car, the parking lot, the bannisters, and shut down the ER.

Something here seems odd. What do they know/suspect that they are not telling us?

They have 20 some-odd beds in the hospital wing being set aside for Ebola patients?

If I were a “citizen-journalist”, I would get a team of like-minded people together and stake out the entry points to that hospital, to see if and when ambulances arrive...

It is possible that Duncan’s “family” members may start showing up there, or be there already, with nothing said publicly - to prevent panic, of course! The “judge”, Mayor, and Doctor did have that “deer in the headlights” look about them.

How many more of the health care workers that cared for Duncan are going to develop symptoms?
