Liberian's coming from Liberia are throwing up all over our planes.CDC takes them off in hazmat suits but the passengers have regular clothes on and can smell the vomit. Then after a few hours they get the all clear.I read of 3 flights like this.
this thread makes me want to puke
I loved that ride as a teenager! We’d get on them at the traveling carnivals. I don’t know how I was so brave back then. I won’t even go on a merry go round with my grandkid now. I leave it to hubby because motion these days makes me sick. I can’t even do yoga type exercise without getting dizzy.
Reminds me of the barf-o-rama scene in Stand By Me...
I have flown of hundreds of commercial flights and not have yet to see one passenger throw up.
I have seen about 5 cardiac arrests and a half dozen passengers arrested and removed from the plane after having flights diverted to an un intended airport.
Not one vomit.
Perhaps the CDC is just hoping that the 21 plus day incubation time of Ebola allows them to cover up the situation until after the November 4 elections.
air sickness bags are aboard aircraft for a reason
Who was vomiting on Duncan’s flight? I thought he wasn’t symptomatic at that point.
No, any sort of droplets splashed during the vomiting, or any bit of vomit getting on someone’s shoes or clothing could end up infecting someone.

^ this + 1 I said on a thread days ago that none of these scares will result in a positive finding until someone leaks.
I have never seen anyone get sick, ever.
Upholstered seats need to go fast. You can’t disinfect upholstered seats.
Its airborne - even vomit has airborne particles.
When people stop flying they will do something about it.It all comes down to money.
I have over 500,000 air miles. I was even in a 747 going through Typhoon airspace for 30 minutes where the plane literally kicked us side to side, multiple times, violently enough to give me a huge bruise on my left side from the arm rest. I've been in whoop dee doos where we lost hundreds of feet of altitude, repeatedly. I once did a landing on Anchorage where we came in over the mountains and did a wingtip to wingtip tilt back and forth, left wheels to right onto the tarmac and the plane erupted in cheers when we stopped. In all that and many more, not once have I seen someone vomit.
“Mr. Duncan was not vomiting on the airline flights.”

You are correct.
I was thinking about the passenger on the Brussels to Newark flight this past Saturday.
Mr. Duncan was vomiting on a street in Dallas. I think the powers that be were lambasted for washing his vomit down a storm drain with hoses.
“I thought he wasn’t symptomatic at that point.”

You’re right.
Please see my post # 35.
SaraJohnson: Typical libertarian - make everyone else do your research for you to convience your dumb ass. Its knee jerk. What makes you think anyone cares if you agree or not so much that they want to do your homework assignment.
I'm sorry if you view providing evidence to support an assertion as too much "hard work." I suppose that, in contrast, you feel that calm discussions are best conducted by simply making wild claims based upon half-remembered hearsay - that providing precise information weakens one's argument. I suppose that that goes along with poor spelling and grammar - that only strengthens your position, right?
[...] your dumb ass
So much for polite political discourse.
Regards,
“Doing a little research” means providing you with all the passengers’ names on the flights?
LIEbertarians do this a lot on their websites just because they don’t like an article. I was one time asked for the telephone number and address of a source named in someone else’s news article. Most of their stupid demands could be answered with a google search.
You’re a lucky human! :)
