Well he’s dead right about one thing. It is personal. And it always should have been personal.

Because when some piece of human garbage tells me that I am an obamabot and destroying America for voting for principled conservatives over their liberal republicans, that’s personal.

they personally want me and us all, to become liberals like themselves and put victory at any cost at the forefront. Well, here’s a clue for them. Any version of “America” run by liberals whether R or D, is not the constitutional America of the founders. Freeper liberal, and that is what they are by their words and actions, that wants victory over principle; considering the history of this country is purely about principle and maintaining it in the face of adversity/the enemy, IS the enemy every bit as much as any open Democrat since they advocate situational ethics.

They need to be called what they are and shown the door. Because as long as they remain, all we do is spin wheels arguing for no good end. And that means we are not getting our shit together and fighting them ‘out there’ where it matters.

Liberal Freeper is an oxymoron and they are morons. They are the problem.

I couldn't agree more, Norm .. very well stated, sir !

.. all we do is spin wheels arguing for no good end.

While free & open debate of the issues is undoubtedly a good thing, there usually comes a point at which the primary aim risks becoming hopelessly mired in minutia and/or ego wrestling.
The instant case, along with countless others ad infinitum, and the reason for pinging Jim to this thread, reminds me of the Constitutional Convention.
How many times during that historic session did lesser sectional differences threaten to derail the entire process, thereby aborting our nation's very birth.
The primary question then, no more or less than now, was: were we to be a republic, or were we to continue into perpetuity as some fascist variation of a monarchical vassal state.

In that context, it's difficult to see the current crop of RINOs as anything other than 'the king's men', the 'men' descriptor being often in much doubt.
Their individual human flaws notwithstanding, it strains credulity to imagine Mr. Franklin, or the Adams cousins, et al lacking, in the end, the fortitude to declare: NO MONARCHY HERE !

And that's precisely the precipice on which our Nation is currently perched; teetering over the gapingly ravenous chasm which is the dustbin of history, and the grave of liberty and dreams.

Following the last CF 'election' of fraud, apathy, and (disgusting) white guilt that allowed the continuation of the putsch of '08, I changed my registration to Independent and haven't looked back for a moment.
Ever since, my email inbox delivers daily laughter for free via multiple mewling RINO slugs promising - always promising - sweetness and light this time in exchange for my vote and/or dollars.
(with much emphasis on the latter, of course)

So the snippet of your post that I quoted above is there for good reason, and leads to my final point.
While certainly no debate champion nor prolific writer, I prefer to think that forty years of paying relatively close attention to the nation's health have clarified (what passes for) my thinking.
And hence, I intend to forego engaging in pointless, often seemingly endless, wrangling with those who've chosen to prostitute themselves, with whatever motives, to GOPer prerogitaves.
Which is merely another way of saying that it's incumbent on each true citizen to weigh the shameful current state of affairs and decide for themselves: republic or monarchy.
Imho, if it's to be the latter, better that it crashes, with hopes of being rebuilt and maintained more strictly in alignment with the Founders' intentions the next time around.

Give me Liberty, or give me Death

And if that makes me a purist, so be it.
