Secret Place by Robin Trower (studio version to die for)
Searchmp3.mobi ^ | Robin Trower

From the album, "20th Century Blues", by Robin Trower.

This is one of the most haunting and beautiful electric guitar tracks that you will ever hear. Not at all what some might expect from this old master of heavy metal rock.

Click on the play button in the video screen to listen.

You know, it takes a lot of skill to play in a really slow tempo. You must be very good.

This means you MUST enjoy the 'daydream'(start at 3:30) track.. And who can forget 'Bridge of Sighs'? I've been diggin' Trower since the 70's!

Uh....hell yeah!

'Daydream' is only the soundtrack of my soul....

I've been a Trower devotee since 1974, when I first heard 'Bridge of Sighs'.

Me too! My favorite version of Daydream is off the 'Robin Trower - LIVE' album (1976).

If I were to recommend any Trower album, this would be it.

Well,,,, I can’t seem to link to it. “Download” what? “Play Now” just sends me to another download page. Frustrating. Gotta better link?
Though never a great fan, I felt that Trower put a comfortable harness on the stallion the Hendrx ran free.

I take it you like Hendrix' 'Band of Gypsys' too? LOL

I regard this as THE most raging guitar solos album of all time. The DVD of this concert brings it to life a bit, although the quality is poor.

It soothes the savage breast as the old saying goes.

I kind of needed that! ;-)
