Comments?
Senators get handed a message..
2010 ... 2012 ... 2014???
Is SF on a roll .. Again?

some organizations are not prepared to handle their pitchers properly in the postseason.
NATS and Williams can now go home for the winter.
Giants and Cards again. What a surprise. /s
I don’t know the answer ... and rookie Aaron Barrett was dominant in September ... but he hadn’t gotten an out in 11 days due to all the off days ... that was a nightmare and Matt Williams can think about this for 6 months.
Clippard and Storen needed to finish it. Not Thornton, Barrett and Soriano.
Some guys can only manage a bullpen when they have a lead and Nats never got the lead.
THANK GOD THE DOLT MANAGERS ELIMINATED THEMSELVES !!!!
Auh2orepublican is a big baseball guy, you could ping him too.
Cards and Giants, just keep on winning. Solid organizations.
I’ll be rooting for the AL winner though, I’d like to see a fresh champion.
The Calvin Schiraldi award may go to Aaron Barrett this year, but I guess we have to wait for the end of the World Series. Only Rookies are eligible, so Scott Elbert cannot receive votes.
I keep hearing how awful Brandon League has been, but I don’t see it.

LMAO!! Schiraldi was a rookie in '86? I didn't know that.
So far, Missouri is 3-0 against teams from California in the playoffs, lets see if the Cards make it 4-0 against the Giants.
Thoughts on game 1?
Cards add AJP to the roster, 3 catchers.
well played game. No idiocy.
Shields, Tillman. Won’t see them again until game 5, ya think?
“May the best team win.”
The two best teams in the NL in the last five years! and since its an even year, take the Gints in SIX. you read it here first.
Make that,, Git it over in 9 innings PLz!
Some big college games tonite and NASCAR too
Remote Battery Check Time!
the Big Blue machine marches on ...
we won’t see Ventura or Norris until game 6 (if then)
impressed with Yost now.
I remember having a dim view of Yost when he was Manager of the Brew Crew, they blew a big lead to the Cubbies in 2007.
he stuck with his A team out of the bullpen.
He’s got 8 pitchers on his mind, staying away from
Collins, Frasor and Duffy.
Although those 3 are pretty good to have as option B.

That is the 2000 game that the Mattinglys of the world should be forced to watch the game tape. Deciding game 5, Torre goes to setup man Stanton in the 4th inning.
gets 5 innings out of Stanton-Nelson-Rivera for the win.
He doesn’t play it like a regular season game. And he would have done the same if the Yanks were losing in the 4th inning.
In the Grady Little game, Rivera goes 3 innings, 48 pitches for the win

Rivera pitched in 8 games in the 2003 postseason. 7 of the 8 appearances were 2+ innings. Including the game where Beckett and the Marlins closed out the Series.

Hah St Louis, how does it feel to blow a game when you’re down to your last strike?
Cards win, but they should have put AJP behind the plate.
(so many puns in that sentence...)
