They don’t.
Many models the device in the trunk. Camera in the car. No indications of operation.
No way to tell if it breaks and/or stops.
Ridiculous. I have a dash cam.
It’s not only in their interest, if they can’t make sure that a camera is working they are no where near mentally fit to be out in society with a gun and a car.
