“The owner of the home where the dogs are located would not comment.”

Who is this owner that is so intimidating that no one will deal with the problem? Sounds like an epidemic of cowardice in this town.

Does anybody know how to write a headline that actually reflects the story?

Is Corinna the name of a town, or the name of a person?

From the story Corinna seems to be the name of a person. Is she so famous that she goes by one name, like Cher? Normal journalistic style would have her identified by her last name.

Did Corinna OWN the pit bulls and they attacked her neighbor as the headline suggests? But, wait, the story says that Corinna owned the victim dog.

dogs chase/bites ppl/other dog; shoot offending dog.
charge/suit owner's of said dog..take owner's real estate.

After going to my grandparents farm on a Sunday afternoon, when I was 4-1/2 - 5 years old while playing with my cousins, a year or two older, that lived with my grandparents. We were playing a bit excitedly. From behind the pit bull I pushed on it’s rump and the next thing I knew it was astride me and my Grandmother was calling the dog off me.

We had to drive 40 plus miles to the hospital. Mother held a pan under my face and pressed it to slow the blood. The left side of my face was torn open from hairline to chin and my ear was torn halfway off with a few other deep single tooth marks on my face. It easily could have been much worse. today it is barely noticeable.

The Doctor had to come to the hospital from the golf course, Duncan, Oklahoma. God have mercy on his soul.

It was my mistake that the dog attacked me. It barely knew me. Dumb action of a child. It healed well thanks to excellent stitches. Over time the scar has faded outwardly. There is an internal scar, strong and ever there.

Children and dogs should not be left together without an adult being there. MO

I have a miniature poodle, and had two before this one. Great dogs. Do well indoors.

To this day I fear any aggressive acting dog. Terrorizing is how it feels.

Pit bulls are an dangerous breed, when compared to other dogs. They may be wonderful guard dogs .
