Being that voting is a privilege of living in this republic, I don’t think that it’s too much to task that everyone make the effort to show up on a particular day to cast their ballot.

I think we should outlaw vote by mail, early voting, absentee voting and any other forms of voting that require the voter to make the least little bit of effort to have their voice heard.

We have mail voting in Washington. The ballots come in the mail for me and hubby. Sometimes he gives his to me to 'take care of this for me', and sometimes I just vote both cards without asking.

Would it be okay for me to let my hubby 'take care of that for me', or just have him take both ballots, saying that I don't have to worry my 'pretty little head' about that 'voting stuff'. Does no one in this state consider that perhaps this could happen in many households, people taking each other's votes?

Maybe when my son turns 18, I'll register him to vote and get to vote three times.

I usually end up voting early at the county election office. I think it’s probably more secure than voting at the church-much more secure in fact. I’m sure I’ll do it again this year. My life is quite complicated. Chances are better than good that I would be unable to vote on election day at my precinct.
