Having lived in Cowtown for 14 years...I can attest the food in Texas is hot...

I at one time could eat jalapenos whole like candy after living there a few years

I don’t if it still the case, but burger king puts mustard on it’s burger and not ketchup....

Maybe it's because I was raised on spicy foods, but the 'hot' stuff out here doesn't impress me. I probably need to find some authentic Texas restaurants outside the Dallas metroplex.

Try slicing Jalapenos lengthwise, scooping out the veins and fill with creamy peanut butter.

My kids loved them even when they were in grade school.
