Stevie Nicks Confirms She Was Once Pregnant With Don Henley's Baby
SPIN.com ^ | 9/26/14 | Staff

The '70s nearly had their own Blue Ivy Carter, Stevie Nicks has confirmed. The Fleetwood Mac singer/songwriter recently talked with Billboard about her upcoming 24 Karat Gold LP, and was asked about a comment made by her ex-paramour (and fellow '70s megastar) Don Henley of the Eagles. Henley had said that Nicks had gotten pregnant with his baby, and that Sara (later the name of a Mac top-ten hit) was the name she had given the unborn child. Nicks corroborated the important part of that story:

Had I married Don and had that baby, and had she been a girl, I would have named her Sara. But there was another woman in my life named Sara, who shortly after that became Mick's wife, Sara Fleetwood.

The idea of Nicks and Henley — maybe the two most famous members of the two most famous American rock bands of the late '70s — having a child is kind of a crazy one. It would've been a tumultuous upbringing to say the least, but just imagine the smooth, California-inflected and overwhelmingly bitter songwriting DNA that kid would've had. John Mayer would kneel in worship, certainly.

A tough statement, but true:

Notice that any woman who has (deliberately) aborted her baby has decided not to breed another liberal/statist/socialist.

Maybe Darwin had a point, after all?

She would have to say. Given the drug use common to road musicians, and the sheer long weeks running on a couple hours of sleep per night miscarriage seems a strong potentiality as well.

I wouldn’t assert abortion was a given, though it wouldn’t be out of character either.

4 time killer:

“”Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks admitted having four abortions during her life, saying, “To give up four babies is to give up a lot that would be here now. So that bothers me, a lot, and really breaks my heart. But they’re gone, so . . . ””

Very sad; Stevie Nicks has such a beautiful voice and so will/does her child. I think I watched “Fleetwood Mac: The Dance,” about fifty times.

I read somewhere that Debbie Harry of Blondie also regrets not having had children, although I’m not sure if she ever aborted any. She’s over 65+ years old now.

These women get mega-famous, and then when they grow old and alone, they regret not having started a family, and in Nicks’ case, regrets having aborted 4 babies.

That’s something that will live in her conscience for the rest of her days, unfortunately...

These abortions are often very devastating to women. True incident when a Psychiatry consult was called on an older woman admitted to hospital for pneumonia. She kept talking to two imaginary children she called Timothy and Margaret who she insisted were sitting on her bed. She had no children but did have two abortions as a young woman. Psychiatrist said the infection and medication probably was responsible for the hallucination.

So that bothers me, a lot, and really breaks my heart.

I wonder if Lindsey Buckingham was the father to any of the children. If so, that child, too, will/does have a beautiful voice. Hopefully Stevie will see her children in heaven; it sounds like she is sorry.

Of Interest.

Grist for the mill.

Musically, Stevie Nicks was not my cup of tea. Neither was Fleetwood Mac after Kiln House.

A bit of trivia: In 1969 Fleetwood Mac sold more albums than the Stones and the Beatles combined.

Sadly, it looks like Stevie joined the ranks of some 60-70 million women since around 1972 who carry around the consciousness of having murdered their own baby.

I think that many women of our times have a hard look. I think some of that is because of their conspiracy and accompaniment of killing their baby.

FOUR ABORTIONS.

Including at least one child that she'd already *named*. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around such a thing.

do you/we know it was an abortion for fact?

According to the National Review article linked by SilvieWaldorfMD, Stevie Nicks admitted to having 4 abortions.

Oh, my, yes! One of the many reasons I look forward to heaven (I no longer have my hearing), is to listen to Stevie Nicks sing (she is my favorite female singer) once again. Sometimes I listen to her videos hoping to catch a note, but it doesn't really happen. I've always prayed for her because I thought she could have aborted children, but now that I know, I'll pray more.

Looking forward to hearing Elvis too. :)

She’s been linked romantically to Lindsey Buckingham, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Jimmy Iovine, Mick Fleetwood, Tom Petty, and many other musicians as well as roadies, so the possibilities of ‘fatherhood’ for any of these people were there.

Which is precisely the reason they took over the schools - to turn the children of others into replacement socialists. Had they not done so, Roe would have reduced them to a small minority.

Singer Sinead O’Connor was quoted in a Philly.com article saying, “I think people don’t necessarily understand, because they haven’t had the experience, that to decide to terminate a pregnancy is probably the most difficult decision a woman would have to make . . . I made the decision that it would be better for everybody if I had the abortion.”

Hey cue ball, it would have been better for everybody if your mother aborted you.

Sinead O’Connor is to the left of Trotsky, so no surprise there.
