FOR THE RELIGIOUS AMONG YOU, HERE's THE FIRST TWO VERSES OF THE BIBLE:
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the [surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

If true, that is a bit unsettling. Water is more precious than we think.

And once again some babbling eggheads are telling us what everybody already knows. Hydrogen and oxygen are among the elements that compose this vast universe. Do they think that Earth is the only place in the Cosmos where these two elements combined to make water? Of course water is older than the sun. Duh. Glass is older than the sun. Do they think humans created glass?

As oxygen is a “heavy” element that had to be created in a star, isn’t it a no brainer that H2O (at least 1/3 of it) is older than the sun?

I’ve seen this story on several news sites and don’t get why it is news. If the planets and the sun formed at the same time, the constituents by definition would be older than the sun.
