Waitress Says Rush Limbaugh Tipped Her $1,000 on Two Occasions — Here’s What She Did With the Money Just to Spite Him

A waitress turned author claims she received two generous tips of $1,000 on two separate occasions from conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh — but she couldn’t find it in herself to keep the “blood money.”

Instead, she allegedly donated a “sizable chunk” of Limbaugh’s $2,000 tip to an abortion charity.

Chalk up another example that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Did she report those to the IRS?

So much for helping someone who seems down on her luck.

Well, after he allegedly gave it to her, it’s her money. She could have bought crack with it, given it to charity, bought a used car, etc. Why is this a news story? No one cares what I did with my last commission check or tip money from when I made money that way. Has she shown anyone any proof of these transactions yet?

I flat don’t believe her. I believe she wanted to, but don’t for a second believe she did.

If she were a conservative they’d note it, but since she’s on the team, no biggie.

Down on her luck? I'm betting this was not "Mels Diner." If Rush was eating there, I would assume it's a very expensive restaurant where the wait and bar staff make good money. I would think she had a coveted job at the top of the food chain so to speak in that industry.

All it’s going to take is an anonymous tip (in writing) to the IRS about her claim and then it becomes her problem to deal with!

She sounds like a good “waitress sandwich” prospect.

Does The Lord have any say in how much money one acquires?

Does Satan? I know who controls this waitress’s life.

Those are two words you rarely see together. And on the Blaze. Sheesh. Hey Glenn, get a better editor.

And I want to see the receipt. I don't believe her.

From what I’ve read, Limbaugh is well known for leaving extremely generous tips to those servers who wait on him in restaurants. Of course, if they want to be snarky about it there’s nothing he can do about it. But I imagine that the overwhelming majority of those who are on the receiving end of his generosity truly appreciate the intent behind it.

No matter what goodwill is extended to liberals... like muslims, they will ultimately stab you in the back when it serves their perverted self-interest.

She wrote a book about being a waitress there, and this is a story from the book. Seems likely to me that this is bs to help sell her book. If she felt so appalled by Limbaugh, why didn't she have someone else wait that table? If she felt so appalled by him, why did she treat him nice enough to earn a $1000 tip? Unless confirmed by Limbaugh, I don't believe this.

The point about the IRS is a very good one. If she admits in writing that she received these huge tips, then she should have reported a fair amount of income for ‘tips’ on her returns. If she claims she didn't keep the money, she would still have to report the income, and then the ‘charity’ she donated it to. She may have caused herself more trouble than she would have imagined.

I realize all of that - and yes, it’s a high likelihood of being BS. Doesn’t change my point to the poster who assumed she was down on her luck - which is that wait and bar staff in such establishments make good money. Those jobs are coveted. Those who have them are not down on their luck.

Now, if they’re at the Waffle House - that’s another story.

The IRS is was too busy harassing Tea Party groups to look into her claim. Not going to happen.
