I don’t disagree, but Sarah’s future as a serious national figure was done in by Tina Fey and a couple of three minute skits on Saturday Night Live.
Such are the brains of our low-info electorate after decades of addiction to the aptly named boob tube.
I (completely) disagree.
Sarah will be a very well qualified candidate in 2016.
I think if she chooses not to run in 2016, that changes things, but she is the single most credible GOP candidate anywhere at the moment.
Very much looking forward to the next Presidential race.
How can she be taken serious when the Dems have such class acts as the Clintons, the Obamas and the Reids.
Pray America wakes up
I was arguing with a family liberal a while ago. Inevitably they brought up how stupid Sarah was because she could see Russia from her house. I told her “Sarah Palin NEVER said that and what you’ve heard about her is all a fabrication.”
Thank goodness for smart phones when you can provide people with facts immediately.
Still I laugh that 6 years of constant Sarah Palin bashing the liberals can’t stop talking about her. They claim she is so irrelevant YET, they can’t stop their obsession. She can run a 2 week news cycle with a facebook post.
I agree that that’s the challenge she’s had to overcome.
But the Tina Fey caricature wouldn’t have stuck without her family issues and image.
And I would say that all of the Palin family reality TV cashing in has taken her image further in that direction, rather than countering the damage from Fey.
Had Palin instead simply held on to finish her one term as guv and then taken some sort of adjunct think-tank position on international energy policy, or something similar, she’d be a viable presidential candidate today.
Sadly, that wasn’t her direction, nor now likely her future.
Sorry to hear that you dont disagree with such ridiculous statements
