AMEN! I talked to Ron Paul several years ago and asked him “Do the politicians in DC KNOW they are doing things that will HURT this generation and our grandkids, and great grandkids?”
He said “They only care about POWER & CONTROL”
He was RIGHT. as ususal.
i agree. the practitioners in big government will grab an issue that resonates (health care) and wrap more control around it, and then try to make it as palatable is they can in order to get it passed. once passed, they know that it will remain in place, despite all the repeal rhetoric (and that is all it is) that gets bandied about, use it to make their job of governing easier.
and easy government is the antithesis of freedom.
