Jameis Winston, who has been suspended for Florida State's game against Clemson, showed up before the game in full pads and started to warm up with his teammates before being sent back to the locker room by head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Winston was originally suspended from just the first half of the game for yelling a profanity-laced statement in front of fellow students on campus. That suspension was later increased to the full game when the school reportedly learned that Winston lied about the full nature of what had happened.

Despite the suspension, Winston appeared to be going through all of his normal pre-game routine, dressed in full pads.

However, Fisher pulled Winston aside and appeared to scold the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback and even looked annoyed.

The look on Fisher's face says it all.

He should never gotten the Heisman Trophy. Now he is being scrutnized more and more. Just wonder he is at the age whereby family and friends can see if he is schizophrenic or just plain nuts.

"That suspension was later increased to the full game when the school reportedly learned that Winston lied about the full nature of what had happened."

Translation: cellphone audio and video surfaced that refuted Winston's account; and major Seminole football donors made clear that Jimbo Fisher -- fine coach and grand fellow that he may be -- needed to assert control of his team and of Winston.

Watching his (Winston's) demeanor and actions along the sideline, including involving himself in offensive sideline timeout huddles, makes me think Jimbo has not exactly taken hold of the situation.

Or the banishment was accompanied by a wink and a nod...

I was amazed to even see him on the sideline. He should be suspended for that :)

What is the protocol at other schools when a player is suspended. Are they allowed on the field at all? I haven’t paid attention to such before. Lol.

I agree,he should never have been allowed on the sidelines giving advice and being covered by the media.I never rooted so hard for a team that I don’t care about as I did Clemson.

Does anyone see the connection between Mr.Brown walking out of the convenience store without paying and Mr.Winston stealing crab legs?

Winston will be lucky to get drafted in the first two rounds. He has Vince Young and DaMarcus Russell written all over him and will likely get a similar Wunderlic score.

There are 5-6 QBs in the PAC-12 that are better pro prospects than Winston.

“Jameis Winston is a bum. He raped that girl and Forced Sex University
and coach Bimbo Fisher covered it up and let him play. Winston should be in prison where prisoners yell, “F*ck him right in the ass”!”

None.

I'm owed behavior.

In the end, Jameis Winston is very close to being suspended for the rest of this season or kicked off the team. A shame, too, because he had the raw skills to be a GREAT quarterback in the NFL, especially he's tall enough to see over most defensive linemen.
