People say “Oooh! In the Marines, he was rated a ‘marksman’!” That’s the LOWEST grade! In fact, Oswald was so uncoordinated, he was barely employable.
LBJ made tens of millions off the Vietnam war. As did Lady Bird. And what Communist wouldn’t have run the war the way LBJ did? Not that I think LBJ was a Commie. He didn’t have convictions.

He has destroyed Lyndon Johnson’s reputation worse than Joan Crawford’s stepchildren did with “Mommie Dearest”.
Four books on LBJ and Caro is only now working on the fifth which actually covers Johnson in the White House & his running of the Vietnam War. He’s 77 now; hope he lives to complete the final chapter on “Landslide Lyndon”.
That was a long time ago so I don't recall all the details. Caro made Moses out to be a hero in some ways, as I recall, but slammed him for his refusal to extend the subway system out into Long Island as it was starting to fill up with suburbs, in the expectation that everyone would want to drive their cars on the freeways coming into town.
Dodgers moved to LA because of Moses.
