You make a good point about responsibility...
My only point is he did something stupid that affected just the very few people who actually heard him say what he said...
My question is: did the punishment fit the "crime" ...
Also my point is if it was any other player that did this....crickets...
It actually affected the image of the university that pays his way to earn a degree that will support him for the rest of his life. His repeated actions have made the school look bad.
He wanted attention. He got it.
When one is on a pedestal, it is very easy to fall off. There is no bias about the FSU program or any other one who employs publicly thwarting the rules of the GAME that everyone else has to play by. I have no favoritism in any aspect of the Florida Schools other than the personal responsibility of them all.
I will needle you a bit more in that UF had an athlete who personified personal responsibility and all he got was a barrage of arrows for it from the very same media who can’t find it in their gut to call out the thug for what he is.
Put your biases aside and as an adult accept that what the Ray Rice wannabe, Seafood Bandit and now Sully Pontificate did even after the spotlights were even more focused on him deserves DISCIPLINE, not PROSECUTION.
There was no crime, agreed but your biases are even more obvious than you even care to admit by trying to make it a legal case instead of one about personal responsibility.
