Americans tailgating and strangers coming together rooting for their favorite team doesn't promote civility?
Ah, yes it does. No doubt a lot more good stuff comes from that than the rudeness one sometimes hears about. You only hear about the bad news most of the time.
I guess I was thinking more on field with all the swishy celebrations and chest slapping displays after routine plays. I wish there was a way for the cool players to self police the jerks, but they can’t or won’t. Big problem, at least for me.
