Part of the reason for why politics is so corrupt, because too many people support acts of corruption elsewhere in life. You, by supporting a league that allows players to freely act as criminals, is helping to keep corrupt politicians in office, because the league contributes to the coffers of these corrupt politicians to ensure the benefits the league gets under the tax code stays.
Even if you will never admit to it, you are part of the problem because you are willing to tolerate, accept, and celebrate corruption in your life.
