I don’t give a damn if it’s the only show on tv people watch.
By supporting a league that willingly employs people with a history of personal criminality and personal violence, you are condoning these acts.
When I see a football player, who still has a job, despite having committed an extreme act of violence, I don’t have to know what I was talking about.
I only have to know that these players are still employed by the league.
Sadly, Black men seem to have a reputation of violence, of beating women and children. Pro football has overwhelming amount of blacks now, so that’s why this is all coming into focus. VERY SAD.
Sad the NFL I remember of Johnny Unitas and Roger Stabach has turned into WWE style Kabuki theatre.
Lets ban cops since a small minority of them also commit crimes. See how stupid that sounds?
When I see the NFL publicly fire players, and coaches and whomever else, who are involved in serious criminal activities, I will take your point seriously.
As far as I can see, and I can give a list of players a mile long who are still playing, despite being involved in violence and crime off the field, the NFL seems more willing to cover up their misdeeds rather than do the right thing.
You mean like Aaron Hernanfez? Or Michsel Vick?
