I really need FReeper help if you don't mind.
Son has a talent show coming up and we thought "Old Army Hat" would be great. Great vocal range for him because he is in JHS.
The song is especially poignant for him because an older soldier who did work on our home took a liking to him and gave him his army cap. I burst with tears. He's going to wear the hat for the performance. Also, his GF (WW2 Pacific) went on Honor Flight and son still remembers it. He wants to honor them both at his performance.
Does anyone know where to get a backup tape he can sing to?
Is there an echo in here?
How’d you guess?
You keep track of Levin and seem to have e-data issues. :^)
Did you try youtube? If it’s not there Google it and see what comes up.
Who even has tape players anymore?
A sign you are getting old is when you have been in a record store for 10 minutes before you realize there are no records in the store. Of course records have made a come back but nobody looks for tapes!
Just funning you. But i do have a question. What is a CD?
That melody sounds a LOT like “Gentle On My Mind”. Or the other way around I suppose.
God Bless Him!
You Tube has karaoke videos, but you can’t upload them and can’t avoid the commercials.
However, if you have iTunes, you can probably get the “Instrumental” for a $1.99.
If that doesn’t work, go to Ultimate_Guitar.com and get the simplest chord chart that even a beginner guitar player can follow.
My students do all three to get their tracks.
Thanks, everyone! I knew y’all could help!
I will try to get a recording of his performance to share.
He’s really excited about this.
It really does.
I originally dug up the song “Riding With Private Malone” which he loved and was w/in his vocal range. But just under the vids on YT found this one and we thought it was perfect.
Awesome! TY!
My Pleasure! ;-)
