Clearly inspired by Jesus' words 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you', a pair of Christian mixed martial artists knock each other out with simultaneous blows to their privates.
Filmed for the now released 'Fight Church' documentary, the two fighters are part of the burgeoning Christian mixed martial arts movement that espouses the mantra, 'Jesus never quit, he never tapped out.'
Indeed, the documentary, which was funded by $30,000 raised through crowd sourcing, attempts to answer the hard questions raised by combining religion and extreme physical violence, such as, 'Can you love your neighbor as yourself and at the same time knee him in the face as hard as you can?'

Things like this are why Christians are seen as a joke.
Having it related to a church doesn’t bother me. The no tap out rule and teenagers fighting to hurt each other isn’t the best idea.
If they were real men they would parody Mohamed.
With all of the Moose Limbs attacking Christians, it is becoming necessary for Christians to learn hard core self defense, especially hand to hand. Christians need to learn how to defend against machetes and guns too.

I must have missed that passage in the Bible where Christ instructed us to beat each other bloody in His name and sell tickets to those who get their jollies from watching such stuff.
This is some sick “church”. And dragging children into it? I remember reading something once about a millstone.
What an idiotic display of misguided Christianity.
yup.
Silva won’t be doing that to anyone any time soon.
Yeah, it’s so ridiculous, I can’t understand why Alex Murphy didn’t post it. Oh, wait: the fighter believes in double predestination, not Catholicism
Seriously, I think it’s idiotic, but trivial. A British newspaper traveled all the way to Rochester, NY to find an idiot who just happens to be Christians. We Christians can’t hope to purge ourselves of all idiots.
What I’m truly horrified at is that they allow children to participate. Combined with the normal pressures to assert one’s adulthood and courage, the pressure that one is doing it “for Christ” makes it highly likely that some of these kids are experiencing this as severe physical abuse.
He is supposed to fight the pot smoking/DUI prone fighter Nick Diaz in early January. Even if his leg anywhere near 100%, I doubt he will be throwing too many kicks, due to the memory of what happened against Weidman.
Watching the video, I'm reminded of today's "Francis moves Burke" threads.
I agree. These people are nuts.
