You and I can do that but food can be addictive to some people.
My neighbor is grossly overweight; her friend told me a few days ago that while most people eat a slice or two of pizza, the fat lady eats the entire thing. Perhaps her trip to the emergency room yesterday with painful diverticulosis might help change her habits. But I doubt it.
food addiction is harder to get over than alcohol or drug addiction, as you cannot just give up food. It's a daily fight, meal by meal, snack by snack. Hopefully "lite" pizza will help
but does lite beer help alcoholics quit drinking?
