She was renting a home near my girlfriend's home. The guy was a date for the night, and they both got drunk before he rammed into the back of my car. So you can see why I lost it, at a drunk driving around without a care in the world. I was young and stupid, and am not so quick to fly off the handle now. The gal soon moved away. This was in San Francisco. Carry permits are non-existent except for half-a-dozen chosen few (Feinstein was probably one of them). Even with all the anti-gun laws, I encountered many people who illegally carried in SF. I had quite a few co-workers who had guns in their desks or purse, openly showing them to me. I saw a few pulled out of vehicle gloveboxes in traffic altercations (a couple times pointed at me). I did ride-alongs with cops when I worked for the police department, and they were fearful of people possibly taking a pot-shot at them from hills. When I was young, working at a gas-station my boss made me carry a revolver, no permit, illegally hidden (only pulled once to fend off a robbery). Gun-grabbers are naive if they think anti-gun laws mean people aren't carrying.
