Whoever thought that taking a few polaroids and keeping them in a shoebox up in the closet was a good idea? I mean, a burglar could easily break into your home and steal them, scan them, then post them to 4chan.

This is not, was not, in any way shape or form the fault of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Hudson, etc. The only responsible party is the scumbag burglar, whether physical or electronic, who broke in and stole her folder or shoebox of pictures.

Moral responsibility lies with anyone who views these pictures knowing that they've been stolen from that shoebox. It is NO different.

Most people who break into homes, I have had it happen, steal my machete, my mantelpiece, or jewelry, why? Probably because I am not some big celebrity, and they wouldn’t be valued at anything. The only reason why I didn’t get an identity theft from that was because my main identity stuff was either outside te home with me or ignored in favor of my wife’s jewelry or my souvenir machete.

It was online but it’s still theft, so I still agree that the hacker was anything but decent. In fact, never had a fondness for the hardcore hackers anyways, so narcissistic, so living in their tiny world.
