Prosecutors in the case of a man accused of killing a University of Richmond student earlier this summer said he may have been seeking retribution for U.S. military action against Muslims in the Middle East.
Ali Muhammad Brown and two accomplices are facing charges in connection to the slaying of 19-year-old Brendan Tevlin, who was shot multiple times in his car on June 25 in New Jersey.
Brown, 29, also has been named a suspect in three other deadly shootings in Washington state.

The girl who was killed was Black. The 19-year-old who was shot a bunch of times was white. I don’t know about the others.
With the criminal history of Brown it seems likely that he was recruited for Islam in prison - which is where a LOT of recruitment takes place. The criminal mind is tailor-made for the ideology of Islam.
If I’m reading the article correctly Brown was homeless at the time of these murders; he was a sexual predator, which is why I think he may have been in prison.
Difficult situation for liberals. Here you have a MUSLIM who killed an American...no problem there. But then he killed a couple of gays? Hmmm, who is higher up on the food chain?
