Alfred Bester has two of the greatest Science Fiction titles of all time. Neither is mentioned. Not much of a list.

The Demolished Man

The Stars My Destination.

Nothing by Le Guin? Yes, she became PC and annoying, but The Dispossessed and The Left Hand of Darkness are still classics.

Nothing -- not even a collection -- by Harlan Ellison? You cannot possibly be serious.

Not a mention of A.E van Vogt? Forget it. The list is baloney.

It’s funny about people’s tastes. So many rate the Demolished Man to be such a great book, but I’ve never gotten past chapter 2. Conversely, I totally agree about The Stars My Destination. It’s brilliant.

I really like a lot of Gordon R. Dickson’s stuff, especially Tactics of Mistake and Time Storm. I also really like Alan Dean Foster’s The I Inside.

I LOVED the Demolished Man, read it for the nth time last year.

I also liked The Unpleasant Profession of Mr Hoag...

There was also a series with two protagonists, a black woman and a white PI, who worked for time travelers and they ran the Mafia, firgot what it was called, but it was good.
