Good morning!

Might not be posting this morning...busy at home.

In any case breaking now...Judge finds Oscar Pistorius guilty of culpable homicide.

I posted a thread. He could very well get probation.

Did you see Rose posted on the warroom site? It’s pretty much the same as yesterday but she posted her picture.

Getting grand kids today. Going to try to start rock candy. Have to get the kitchen ready, LOL!

Good morning n’@!

THANK YOU to all who posted get well wishes for son and I :). He (and many of his classmates) are much better, and absenteeism is just a kid or two a classrroom). He thinks he got this in the 2nd wave (kids sick when they first went back in August—I didn’t know this at the time because we weren’t sick).

As for me, since I’m not a healthy 17 year old athlete I am still weak feeling, have a lingering (now mild—but still there headache) and I have a horrible dry, hacking cough (more to do w/my health—life long asthmatic—than the bug). Ribs sore (and headache might still be from) the broncho spasms (bad coughing fits) I’ve had.

I feel like a hypochondriac posting all that, but want to record the “bug” as this whole mini outbreak locally has just been so weird.

Since I didn’t plan my illness a month or so in advance, I won’t be able to get an audience w/family doctor...so tomorrow (if more hacking tonight) I’m going to a Med Express for inhaler/cough meds.

And the Steelers!?!?!?! All I can add is “LETS GO BUCS” (I think they might win the division—winning and making a great run!)

Morning! PaMom, Glad to hear you are feeling better - I hope the last remnants go away quickly! Talked to a young lady, yesterday, at work. Her friend’s kindergarden child got the bug and is now in the hospital because of it. It caused severe respiratory problems. I was feeling a bit yucky yesterday, but it passed quickly. If I don’t get enough sleep, that’s the result!

Reminder: Get your car filled just in case the CME (hitting tomorrow morning?) is strong enough to temporarily interfere with the power grid!

Go Stillers!

It’s great to hear you are getting over that bug quickly!

The one that is around here lasts a good week or more. All of our kids and grand kids had it. The GKs weren’t as bad as their parents. Oldest son had to go to his doctor and he is still a little sick.

I went to bed at halftime - that tells you how I felt about the game.
Hope everyone is feeling better. Praying for all the sickies - this virus thing is nasty.

KDKA has Glenn Meekam now. I guess Glenn didn’t like the 800 watt candle that is WJAS.

VIA The Warroom.com :

Message From Quinn:

While on vacation it has come to my attention that a tweet of mine has caused some misunderstanding. Upon re-reading it , I can see that it could be misleading. I wrote it while I was in a rush and leaving for vacation(don’t try this at home folks).
Please allow me to set the record straight:

Frank Iorio did indeed talk with us about doing the show on his station WJAS. He
DID offer to stream it live on I Heart Radio. However, I desired to stream it exclusively on Warroom.com.
In the end, It was my decision to take my brand; “The Warroom” in a different direction.
Streaming on I Heart did not fit into the business model I had in mind for the show.

We ended our talks amicably with each party wishing the other great success.

We sincerely wish Frank the very best. Rose has said on several occasions that Frank Iorio rescued talk radio in Pittsburgh and gave it a home, and I agree.
As soon as I get back from vacation — I will wrap up all the loose ends and have more
information for you in terms of the direction of “The Warroom”.I hope I was able to clear this up for you,
Jim Quinn
