Should have the choir from the Naval Academy sing the Anthem! Just a few miles from the Stadium!

What song got pulled, and why?

America can’t wait for tonight’s contest between the two sleaziest teams in the NFL.

I’ve never, ever listened to her ‘music’, but Rihanna is a very pretty young woman. Its a sad shame that she’s also a drug-addled skank progressively covering herself in tattoos.

CBS Sports confirms to ET that they are changing their plans for tonight’s debut of Thursday Night Football.

An opening segment featuring Rihanna and Jay Z’s song “Run This Town” with narration by Don Cheadle was scheduled to kick off the game featuring the Baltimore Ravens playing the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, in light of recent events, that plan has been scrapped.

I gather that we’ve got to listen to NOW sermons about the evil male and rampant sex discrimination and violence. Next up, pay the cheerleaders for past abuse and discrimination but stop their performances. After that, do away with all levels of football as women can’t participate and get high salaries to lavish on their lesbian partners.

Yeah, I’m fed up with this, Ferguson, Islamophobia prevention, and all the other progressive memes.

Rihanna was a domestic violence victim in 2009. See here:

It says CBS also scrapped a “comedic segment” planned for the telecast.

In it’s place are news on Ray Rice.

Baltimore Ravens playing the Pittsburgh Steelers

That's like Al Qaeda vs ISIS in my humble opinion. Then there's the Raiders.

What CBS should pull is Phil Simms..the worst football color personality on television today. I absolutely will not watch, or read anything he has to say. Not only can I not stand the sound of his voice, but I’m sick of him saying, “we talked about,” and telling me what I just saw happen on the TV.

And remember Phil Simms has said he will not call the Washington team the “Redskins.” He’s a PC pansy.

why do we have to hide what black “ladies” sing in their hit mainstream songs?

lemme guess, they ran one of beyonce’s relevant songs instead...:-)

“Phil Simms..the worst football color personality on television today”

I respectfully disagree: Troy Aikman and Joe Buck are absolutely the most insipid, vomit-inducing NFL football broadcasting drones on TV today. If I HAVE to watch a game they announce, I always turn the sound off.

It was probably the song that Rihanna did with Eminem which was about domestic violence and showed domestic violence in the video. Really was a very good song and video, which showed the problems of domestic violence. Name of the song is Love the Way you Lie. “Just gonna stand there and watch me burn” is one of the lyrics. it is probably problematic to her and the NFL somewhat here as it shows domestic violence vividly in the video. There are good acting jobs. It also features the actor who played the rock star in Lost in a movie where he is involved in domestic violence with his lover in the movie. Believe the song was a soundtrack for the movie.
