They are total harassment and they are constant. We haven't done any business with any of them and nothing else on that list allows these guys to call. They're completely unsolicited and they're mostly from so called construction Companies who want to do “home improvements” and such.
What happened is we took out a reverse mortgage and the calls started coming in droves. The mortgage co. obviously sold our names, address and phone number to a telemarketing exchange of some kind.
They're trying to get into my 81 yr old mother who I'm a caregiver for thinking it's an old spinster that's recently come into money because of the loan. These guys are dirty crooks. It's amazing how long this has been going on now. Couple years. I just hang up when I see it's a number I don't recognize. If they know us they have to call back and then I'll answer on the second time. Most of the crapweasels won't call back because they are using some kind of computer auto-dialer that dials for them and they only come on if you pick up.
I'm sick and tired of this and the do not call list has been no help at all.
I'm ready to just change the number but I'm afraid it would confuse the heck out of my poor mom.
Oh I forgot to mention I have a private, unlisted number which was great until these guys got it through that mortgage co.
