“It’s a nice looking iPhone accessory for the relatively modest price of $349, don’t get me wrong. But it is an accessory, not a game changer.”
It’s a game changer if you are a apple dude sitting around the table and the only one not wearing the new watch ...

Despite what people say, I do like the design, though. It doesn’t remind people of an oversized Rolex like the Moto 360 watch does.

too much dick tracy, with Apple too close to the Q.I.C.’s alimentary canal, for my liking!
To: Red Badger
If this was from any other company you would hear nothing but how ugly it is.
Now they want to try to make it out to be the most perfect thing ever created.
To: Red Badger
It’s ugly, expensive, and proprietary. No thanks.
It will be fun watching the iCrowd slobber all over it, though.

It’s a good way to let the criminal element know that you have a good job, with a good income, and probably more than a few bucks in the bank.

I also use my phone as a watch. I kind of like not having a piece of hardware strapped to my wrist.

What I need to know is battery life. The article doesn't tell me.

Before the wristwatch, there was the pocket watch. Here, history repeats (reverses) itself, ironically. You have abandoned your wristwatch for a high-tech pocket watch. :-)

I have an LG Expression cell phone that I use for calling, taking and sending pictures and texting. I don’t have GPS or any other devices to tell me where to go. My wife does that on occasion. I can still read a street map without getting lost and tell time on a analog clock, unlike most kids these days.
