I am struggling with whether an employer has the right to terminate someone for something done at home.

As I said earlier in the thread. We have de facto consented to that. I have not been in favor of that either from a civil libertarian point of view.

You have a right as an employer to demand that I not be impaired on your job site. Other then that it should be no ones business what you do on your own time. That's my point. How long before they weigh you before you can have lunch?
