Keith Olbermann: NFL Commissioner 'Is An Enabler Of Men Who Beat Women' (VIDEO)
Huffington Post & YouTube ^ | 9-8-2014 | Chris Greenberg

The ESPN talk show host eviscerated Goodell during an impassioned rebuke of the many parties responsible for mishandling the punishment of Ray Rice following his domestic violence arrest in February. Olbermann called on Goodell to resign from his post or be removed by team owners in segment that aired on Monday. The call for Goodell's resignation or ouster came just hours after the Baltimore Ravens released the veteran running back and the NFL announced that he had been suspended indefinitely. Both moves came only after TMZ released a video showing Rice striking then-fiancee Janay Palmer in an elevator during a February incident at a casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

Does anyone believe that Olbermann has never slapped around a woman?

No chance in hell this pusselgut would ever swing on a man-—’cause he’d get his ass beat.

But I bet he’s left his lunatic mark on many a sorry, lonely, needy woman.

Yep. Satan just went out to shop for a new parka, because I just agreed with Keith Olbermann on something.

“That said if the NFL was sitting on this tape thinking the video would be sealed, the powers that be were not very bright.”

Question: After realizing his original mistake about Rice, did Roger Goodell ask TMZ to expose the ‘new video’ so that the team and the league office could take the appropriate action this time?

Does not make sense. If the League kept this video in their back pocket, then they were idiots period.

If Goodell was worried about flak coming from the Players Association right after the investigation ended (With said video in tow) with Rice being nuked by the NFL, then that would be the time the NFL could have strategically released the video back in April/May. Right now this is a PR nightmare for the visually infuriated.

Sorry, let me rephrase that: Right now this is a PR nightmare for the NFL due to the visually infuriated mob/sensationalists media outlets.

And yet the NFL is about to let back into the league Josh Brent, who KILLED a man and was convicted of the crime.

I simply posed a question. ;-)

However, one often wonders about what goes on in the smokey back rooms. ;-)

All it will take to condition the masses to embrace Brent is a couple a sports vignettes with music in D minor playing softly in the background.

Still Brent served his sentence (People who disagree need to lobby Reps to change the law) and should have the opportunity to make a living. Rice should be in the same boat and his suspension will probably get lifted after the necessary “penance”.

KEITH GETS LOW RATINGS IN BED

http://www.nypost.com/seven/10092006/gossip/pagesix/pagesix.htm (Link dead)

A 30-something office worker of Caribbean descent, KarmaBites1 said she struck up an e-mail friendship with Olbermann, whom she admired, and agreed to fly to New York to meet him last May. She says he came to her hotel room and opened a bottle of Merlot which he “spilled all over.” Then, when “sexual activity began [in] less than an hour,” Olbermann had difficulty. “I pretended he knew what he was doing,” the embittered blogger writes. “I adored the guy. I didn’t want him to think he was a dud in bed,” so she faked experiencing ecstasy.

Sorry if I sounded harsh, did not mean to be. Sports pundits were also asking that kind of question.

The NFL is in a bad PR position either way. If they ignored the elevator video, the investigation process is awful and if they saw the video during the investigation then a possible cover-up to quickly end the investigation with a multi-game suspension to one of the Raven's key offensive player/hide visual evidence to protect the league's image (Although the events speak for themselves).

The media has done a great disservice by displaying a harsher reaction when the video was released 7 months after the event compared to the *actual* event which took place back in February.Societies thought process is 180 degrees out of phase due to visceral reactions and not analyzing the actual crime. In an age of CGI and editing techniques, this conditioning can lead to all kinds of havoc.
