As far as the recall on those faulty ignition switches goes, GM says about one million vehicles have been repaired. We're now employing all kinds of techniques to reach these customers, to get them to come in and get their vehicle fixed because my goal, as I've stated all along, is to fix every single one. The company has recalled a record 29-million vehicles in 65 separate announcements so far this year.

“It’s not a recall if we don’t call it one.”
Osama is dead, so is GM.
Hmmmmmm..... DAMN.... regret buying a GM product now...
Wish I had driven by the Toyota or Nissan showroom....
Osama was already dead, so was GM.
Probably the only thing Government Motors is good at putting the brakes on!
I would avoid Nissan Like the Plague as well.My 2003 Nissan Frontier had a problem with the Fuel leval sensor system and the only way to repair the Sensor was to replace the entire Tank.
Well I learned from NHTSA that the Vehicle was covered under a Recall that had been ordered.
I took the vehicle into the local NISSAN dealer and they told me that the repair was not covered under any recall so I got stuck paying the Bill.
That will be the last time I ever buy a Nissan.
Why? are the brakes also faulty?
GM needs more “stimulus” money, clunker program and close few more dealerships with welfare to unions, brilliant government motors.
We put the brakes on all GM products in our family. Can’t trust them to design it, build it right, test it, and fix it when it’s their fault with out a court order.
Lots of other choices out there
