I’ve always thought he was one of the good guys. Not so sure anymore.
Seems like he’s made comments like this before.
He had me confused too.
I have to remind myself at times to not admire some actors, just because they played an admirable character in a movie. Case in point: The Book of Eli is an amazing film, but it's presumptuous for me to think that Denzel Washington shares his character's Christian faith.
I love and respect Denzel. He reads the Bible daily. He is a good man.
And so what- he was sharing an experience he had as a Black man and a 9 year old child in Boston HE isn’t out there screaming about Ferguson like Sharpton and Jessie. I have watched quite a few movies about what Black entertainers had to go through in their Musical and Acting careers, it was brutal.
