Long story short: shirtless Moroccan throws bricks at a foreign man walking two German Shepherds. The second man walks away, but the first keeps throwing bricks. Ultimately, the dogs are released.

It was the dogs that were attacked. They were defending themselves. They should have been allowed to finish the job.

My thoughts too. The owner (assumed) should not have hit nor tried to stop the dogs from catching the attacker. OTOH, law enforcement would have found the man & dogs and taken them from him, only to have the dogs euthanized later. Not a good situation for the dogs all the way around.
The story behind is: This was in Casablanca, Morocco in 2013. The man in yellow is a foreigner, the men throwing rocks are Moroccan carpenters. The man in yellow was mad after it is alleged the carpenters were trying to scam him with work he needed done. They started to argue loudly, a crowd gathered and someone started filming the scene, the man in yellow went to get his dogs and was leaving the scene, when the carpenters started throwing rocks at the man and the dogs. and the dogs attacked the carpenter throwing rocks. The Moroccan police arrested the foreigner in yellow, put him in prison for a few months and the 2 dogs were put to sleep. This is from a Moroccan source in french I read, so its not bias against Moroccans, since they themselves wrote it.
It’s common knowledge that muslimes hate dogs. I’ve always womdered why, especially considering they’re both hairy, smell bad, and will dry hump your leg as a way of saying hello.
Then it occurred to me. Muslime men hate dogs because they see them as sexual competitors. In most cases, the dogs are better looking and almost certainly more intelligent. It is only natural that muslime women, themselves little more than beasts, would prefer a loyal four-legged “companion” over the brutish, domineering two-legged variety.
According to legend, Mo was a bandit. He used to attack villages and caravans at night while the people were sleeping.
However, the dogs of the village would bark, alerting the would-be victims and causing them to wake up and defend themselves.

Dogs and pigs are dirty ,but poking goats, camels and little children are OK.
I suppose it gets tedious, living in the desert. Kind of like the outback, where men are men and sheep are nervous.:-) It is kind of weird, though. While relations with pre-pubescents (and puberty was equated with adulthood) are well within the biblical (and thus Koranic) tradition, bestiality is a big time no-no, punishable by death.

Yes, I too have seen that video; one of my favs.
Nice to see a Moslem get his, but see how the Shepherds do not relentlessly, tenaciously attack. Good dogs.
