you are 100% correct. And that pisses off a lot of men who will never give up their sports no matter how insane things get.
I did it about 8 years ago. After 35 years of obsessing about the NFL, NBA, Boxing and MLB, I pretty much have gone cold turkey.
Still listen to Cardinals Baseball on the radio, and have now followed hockey closely since 2010. The other sports are dead to me due to what you wrote in your post.
I have no false illusions that soon enough PC will destroy hockey too. I’ve already seen the seeds sprout.
