My supply of bags is pretty low...I only buy them about every other month, and this is the off month. So I will check to see what soups I can make with what I have on hand that don’t require much storage space.

Can you just put a lid on the pot and stick it in the refrigerator? I used to do that sometimes, back when the refrigerator wasn’t as full. Then you can heat what you want in a smaller pot.

Look up “garbage soup.” Put those leftover vegetable parts that you don’t eat to good use. We had some of the best tasting soups with a stock made from boiling rinds, tips, peels, etc. Filter those out, put in some actual veggies if you like, and you will be happy and healthy.
