they no longer count able bodied people, 18-65, as potentially employable. just those trying to get unemployment
One of the unspoken/unwritten aspects to this recovery is all the sneaky Keynesian (Pity the genius’ name is now mud) approaches the Obama administration has taken to put money into the economy - Solyndra loans and the like - but the quietest one is the number of “able bodied” people now classified as disabled and living off of SSI.
It’s saving Democrat-run urban areas the riots they deserve. Most unemployment is home-grown via licensing, permitting and regulatory schemes that reward insiders and punish outsiders. TTIRL* the poor are outsiders, as are most citizens.
