[ At 80 or 81 surgery of any kind is risky....it’s coming out of the anesthetic that is the issue. Very tricky for people to come out of that without dying “on the operating table”. ]
When i get old I am goign to beg the doctor if I have to have a procedure to use the bare minimum amount of anethesia and if I wake up in pain so be it.
Better to wake up in pain than wake up dead....
That’s why you hear the expression...”They died on the operating table”.....or ...”They didn’t make it out”.
Out of the anesthetic....
