Sorry, you’re delusional. RGIII is very overrated. Now that his running game has been very curtailed, let’s see if he can make some throws. These other guys you mention haven’t had a chance to prove a thing. Jamarcus Russell is not in the NFL.
Tebow can’t throw. He even admits it. He spent all offseason with a throwing coach who tried to remake his throwing mechanics and motion. His footwork is awful and he has subpar arm strength. I like the guy, but he’s not an NFL QB and is not even close in talent to Cam Newton.
In Tebow’s one playoff win, his stat line is hardly impressive. 10 of 21 (47%)!!! with an average per completion of 15 yards. His average per completion for his career is just over 6 yards. That’s 2 yards more than the average NFL rushing yards per carry!
In his loss to New England in the playoffs that year, he was 9 of 26 (34%)for 136 yards and a 5.2 yard per completion average.
As I say, he’s a stand up guy and easily likeable. But the guy is just an awful, awful QB.
I hear ya', brother - I dislike them so much I'll even root for the (gulp) Eagles when they play 'em....

He’s plenty quick in the distance from the line to the quarterback, he just cannot be better than either Quinn or Long, nor big enough to play other positions. DeMarco Farr says he’s better than any of the ends Dallas has.
You being a head coach is very impressive. However, you’re missing the whole point here regarding Tebow, and how he was treated relative to other players of similar or lesser talent. And you might also want to take a harder look at the nature of today’s NFL, and sports networks such as ESPN, CBS, and NBC sports.
Check the record and be convinced.

The one thing that brings Giants, Eagles, and Redskins fans together is rooting against the Cowboys.
I'm referring to the way he was treated by the sports media, particularly the NFL channel, and even some of his teammates, relative to the way others have been and currently are treated.
It is because of his outspoken thanks and praise to Jesus Christ that he was effectively blackballed from the NFL, not because of his play.

Still, I want to commend you on your coaching youth sports. I coach on either an assistant level or as as we call it, as a ‘participating parent’ in the area of baseball.
I see how the head coaches have to put in incredible amounts of time (that I don’t have to) and they often take a lot of heat from parents and even other coaches. It’s optional for the assistants to attend meetings, but the head coach must be there. Head coaches also work in the off season, as I’m sure you do as well.
It’s not easy I know, but very rewarding.
True enough, thank you. On top of all you mention, regarding football, now I have to pass a “Concussion Awareness” Test and also a background check, which of course, I have to pay for. And they wonder why no one volunteers.
Still, you do, and you too should be commended. It’s always the parents that never step up that complain the loudest.
