VICKSBURG, Miss., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- A pair of Mississippi men said they had close encounters with a Bigfoot-like creature on separate occasions near the same playground. Vicksburg resident Peyton Lassiter told The (Jackson, Miss.) Clarion-Ledger he discovered a footprint and some mysterious gray hair near a local playground Aug. 12, and David Childers, a paranormal investigator who has been featured on cable network A&E, said he caught a glimpse of a 6-foot-tall "creature" with "grayish-brown" hair at the playground in November of last year.

Every day I walk out by the ocean where there's a beautiful, expansive dog walking area and hang gliders. Boom-booms must be picked up. 99% of the dog owners do that. Gorgeous place: doggies, hang gliders and the ocean, what a treat.

I have always known that many of the good folks in Dixie operate on a slightly slower schedule than the frantic, half-crazed Yankees up north; but for several of them to see what they claim to have seen in November of last year, and just now be getting around to reporting it? That is LAID BACK beyond imagination!
