Fonzie’s jacket wasn’t on display! I asked them about that, ‘cause the last time I’d been there (a billion years ago) they had a great “entertainment” section. They said it was being refurbished and would be back at sometime in the future. All that was there from that past exhibit was Archie Bunker’s Chair and Dorothy’s ruby slippers.
Oh, yeah, the Star Spangled Banner is also not on display any more (used to be the first thing you saw when you walked in). The museum guy told me that the light and camera flashes were destroying it. I do think it is trotted out every day, however, at a certain time. They also took away that great pendulum that used to hang at the entrance of the museum.

Interesting! I interviewed Joe of “Hollywood Treasures” (canceled) TV series a few years back and he said the ‘actual shot’ slippers have not really yet been found; he said they’re the ‘holy grail’ of movie props!
