Thats fine. Plenty of poorly-run businesses stay in business thanks to the large pool of consumers who lack critical-thinking abilities.
Sounds to me like they’re a well-run business. No business can survive if it *actually* takes seriously the “customer is always right” mentality. Sometimes the customer is an idiot - as in this case - and needs to be shown the door. Saves money in the long run. I’d almost guarantee that this mother has been a problem-causer prior to this incident, and that this FB thing was just the final straw that made the school decide to cut their loses.
Oh c'mon. Only one pre-school in the entire Houston area? Highly doubt that.
Let’s pick some fly specks out of pepper. Funny how of the
totality of my points you want to pick out this one. OK,
suppose that there are many pre-schools in the area but
they are all full with extensive waiting lists? Neither
one of us know, but the point is that if that’s the best you
can come up with then you just want to argue instead of
working on something that we both can agree is plausible.
Let me try again. You seemed to insinuate that mom is a
moron and you did not indicate that the pre-school could
be at fault to any extent. While both of those things
might be true my point is that if it is accurate that
the boy was discharged because of what the mom posted on
social media then the pre-school could bring themselves
more problems than they resolved. For one thing it could
demonstrate to potential clients that they are thin
skinned and not willing to work things out. They had to
know mom would be back on social media with a vengeance. Obviously, the pre-school folks are concerned about their
reputation or they would have just ignored mom’s
original rants.
I am not prepared to say either side played their hand well, so far. Are you? I will say that as someone who saw
the kid on TV has seen many hundreds of cases of ADHD and
ADD over the years I wonder if the boy might have been
a disruptive influence in the class and that might have
played a role in his dismissal.
